This tour takes you on a historic walk through Salisburys origins Learn how the Salisbury we see today actually came to be, starting with the journey from the hillfort of Old Sarum down into the valley below. The tour will then leave the close & begin a journey around the town with stops along the way. No prior historical knowledge of Salisbury needed!
The tour takes place outside, apart from St Thomas Church. Please check the weather before your arrival as you may need an umbrella/sunhat.

The tour will finish back in the Cathedral Close, a perfect location for those that wish to continue exploring with a visit to Salisbury cathedral. You don't need to be a history buff to enjoy this tour but you will need a camera.
